We are pleased to announce the creation of the Elizabeth Tyler Strandberg Foundation Inc. The Foundation was created by family members to honor and remember Tyler’s legacy by doing what she did best: Helping Others. The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 1986, or the corresponding provision of any future federal law. Such purposes include but are not limited to: Charitable giving to any organization, entity, or person in need and with a focus on those that provide for the development of youths, including but not limited to organizations supporting the education of youths, organizations supporting the well-being and health of youths and organizations supporting disadvantaged youths and those suffering from mental handicaps.
The Directors are Tyler’s immediate family members: J. Buckley Strandberg, Beth G. Strandberg, Blair S. Tomlinson and Josie G. Strandberg. Tax deductible donations to the Foundation can be made payable to the Elizabeth Tyler Strandberg Foundation Inc. and sent to PO Box 8105, Rocky Mount NC 27804-1105.
